Our unique process allows us to sanitise and deodorise our bedding without the use of chemicals or detergents leaving a fresh clean product. Examples of contaminants that are eradicated are listed below.

It is a very soft bedding but remains highly absorbent and holds its structure well avoiding big hocks as some horses go through the bedding onto the hard floor. As a result of its killing action on organic contaminants, our system is unmatched as a deodorising agent. Rather than simply masking odours with fragrance, we deodorise our bedding by destroying the source of the odour.
Instructions for Use
For a totally new bed, our customers suggest that 2 bales are sufficient for a 12ft x 12ft stable, where the bedding covers approximately half the floor including banking.
Caviera bedding is flexible enough to be fully mucked out daily, or deep bedded, skipping out droppings daily and removing wet bedding as desired.
If possible, its a good idea to brush the bedding back to let your floor or matting dry but this isn’t essential. Put your horse bedding back in place, building banks to avoid casting, just like you would for shavings.
